The Root Chakra, or Mūlādhāra in Sanskrit, is associated with the feeling of safety and grounding. Located at the base of the spine, it governs our sense of safety, stability and security on this earthly journey. When in harmony, we are connected to nature, feel grounded, trust in the natural laws and feel safe.
